| Thomas Porter Jose was born in Cornwall on 10th October 1801. He was Master of the Merchant Venturers in 1856 and Mayor of Bristol in 1863. He lived for many years in Buckingham Villas and then at 1 Royal York Crescent where he died on 19th January 1875. He was a tobacco broker and JP and his grave is in Arnos Vale Cemetery. |
