Edward Robinson - 1853-1913? (Lord Mayor 1908)

 

 

Edward Robinson was the third son of Elisha Smith Robinson (Mayor in 1866) one of the founders of the firm E.S. and A. Robinson; he was born in 1853. He became chairman & managing director of his fathers firm and was for some years a member and vice chairman of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce. He was President of the Anchor Society in 1887 and appointed a magistrate in 1889, he was also vice chairman of the Bristol South Liberal Association.  He served as Mayor in 1908.
