Frank William Wills (1852 - 1932)

Frank William Wills was born on 17th August 1852.  he was educated at Amersham (near Reading) and became an architect and surveyor and was responsible for the design of many churches and commercial buildings in the Bristol area - for example the W.D & H.O. Wills Building in Bedminster.

He became a City Councillor in 1908 and Lord Mayor of Bristol in 1911,  he was knighted in 1912 when the King visited to open the Edward VII Memorial Building at the Royal Infirmary.  He died on 26th March 1932.
