Walter Melville Wills was associated with his brother George in gifts
to Bristol University in the 1920's and he also
independently provided it with a number of endowments.
His main benefaction, however, was to finance the
Homeopathic Hospital in Bristol, in memory of his son
Bruce, who was killed in the Great War - it was opened in
1923. |
